Drop PDFs or images here

PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP
Processed entirely in your browser — your documents never leave your device
How it works
Drop your files
Drop PDFs, images, or a mix of both. Nothing is uploaded. Files are read directly into your browser's memory and a live page-by-page preview appears instantly.
Edit in place
Drag pages to reorder them. Hover any page to rotate or delete it. Use + Add Files to append more PDFs or images. Undo reverses any action.
Download your result
Click Download PDF. No watermarks, no page limits, no sign-up. Metadata is stripped from the output.
Full PDF editing without a server
Most online PDF tools upload your documents to a remote server, process them there, then let you download the result. That means your files, including any sensitive content, pass through a third party's infrastructure.
ClientSide runs pdf-lib and PDF.js entirely in your browser tab. Document data never leaves your device. This is especially important for contracts, financial statements, legal documents, or any file you wouldn't want stored on an unknown server.

Frequently asked questions
Can I reorder and delete pages inside a single PDF?
Yes. Drop your PDF and a thumbnail strip appears. Drag pages to reorder, or hover a page and click the delete button. Use Undo to reverse any action.
Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can merge?
No. Drop multiple PDFs at once, or use + Add Files to append more after the initial load. The only practical limit is your browser's available RAM.
How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?
Drop your PDF, hover the pages you don't need and click the delete button on each, then click Download PDF. The result contains only the pages you kept.
Will the output contain metadata from the source files?
No. All outputs contain only page content. Author names, creation dates, and software info from the source files are not included in the result.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. All processing is done by pdf-lib and PDF.js running entirely in your browser tab. Your documents are read into RAM and the result is written directly to your Downloads folder. Nothing is transmitted over the network.
Does this work with password-protected PDFs?
No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be read without the password. Remove the password protection first using your PDF application, then use ClientSide.
Can I create a PDF from images?
Yes. Drop JPEG, PNG, or WebP images — each becomes a page. Mix images and PDFs freely, drag to reorder, then click Download PDF.
Does this reduce the PDF file size?
Often yes. pdf-lib rewrites the PDF from scratch, stripping redundant objects and unused resources that accumulate in files edited by Word, Acrobat, or other tools. The result is typically smaller than the source with no separate compression step needed. Very large or image-heavy PDFs may not shrink significantly, since image data is preserved as-is.
